Dr. Loguidace

Veterinarian

I went to Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA for an undergraduate degree in Biology. I was also a Division I softball player and the captain of the team. My journey took me to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis for veterinary school. I performed my clinical year at Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine. I would not trade the experiences I had in the Caribbean or in Oregon for anything. My interests include soft tissue surgery, exotic animal medicine, general nutrition, and missionary work. I love having advanced diagnostics like ultrasound and endoscopy at my fingertips!

Originally from Bethlehem, PA, I grew up with four siblings and a desire to travel. My three older brothers and one younger sister all have outstanding careers, ranging from a singer/songwriter to a cardiologist. As an Italian-American, I am family oriented, ambitious, passionate about everything I do, and appreciate my mother’s cooking more than anything. Nothing beats a home cooked meal when I go to visit! My parents have taught me how to be a compassionate leader and how to be a faithful servant to the Lord.

Growing up, my parents always thought I was going to become a veterinarian. I would write books about animals and always gravitate towards people’s pets. However, I never had pets growing up. By the grace of God, becoming a veterinarian was my calling since 6th grade. I have not looked back since then.

I currently have 4 cats - Kookaburra, Bindee, Rocket, and Ollie - and 3 dogs - Bee, Bubbles, and Valley - with my partner. Their names speak for themselves! All of them have their own unique personality. I moved to Dover with my partner this year to start our lives together.

In my down time, you can see me at the gym working out, playing recreational softball, or winding down with my partner on the couch with our beloved pets! Other interests include traveling, Marvel and DC movies, concerts, doing outdoor activities and spending time with loved ones.
