Dr. Longbottom

Hello, I’m Dr. Longbottom. I have been working in the field of emergency veterinary medicine since 2002.

I have served as both an associate veterinarian and as chief of staff and I am excited about my role as a practice owner. 

When I am not at work, I am managing a busy household with my 3 sons, Aidan, Finn and Sullivan, with my husband, Matt McGee. Dr. McGee and I met while attending veterinary school at Oklahoma State University.

My family also consists of 3 rescue dogs, Nugget, Bika and Petal as well as 3 rescue cats, Nibbles, Cheese and Cracker. In my free time, I enjoy time outside, reading with my book club, binge watching Netflix with my husband and watching our boys play club sports.

I am so proud of Mason Dixon and how the team has been able to provide 24/7 emergency and critical care to our community. Taking your pet to the emergency vet can be an unsettling experience. We want you to know that we are committed to treating both the pet and pet owner with the same level of care we would give to our own. We are here for you.
